Minimalist and Modern Apartment in the Heart of Paris

A historic office building has been redesigned into an expensive and modern apartment in a center of Paris with ample spaces punctuated by contemporary design furniture with classic touches.
The old building dating from the time of Haussmann, and it made history in the urban architecture of France, known for modernizing the city at the beginning of the last century. This transformation was carried by the Agence Daphné Sawn to draw contemporary interiors for this place.

The impact of the dark blue added to lighter shades of white and light wood already in the entrance hall conveys the modern design, above the boiseries and old forms, always maintaining and respecting the DNA of the building, making sure that is original beauty wasn’t lost. The stained-glass windows do not open anywhere, they are pure to give color and fun to the hall.

The minimalist dining room has a special charm with the chandelier made up of cutlery on white table and chairs, the highlight is the zebra fake rug that takes everything from the ordinary.  The interior design Daphne likes the feel of empty spaces in homes and apartments.

In the master bedroom, a suspended bed has beside birdie lamps by Ingo Maurer. The room is so large that it allowed a desk behind the headboard and a lean toilet with glass boxing in the same space! “We provide cabinets built into the walls for a cleaner look,” says Daphné.
