The well-known architect and interior designer Fernanda Marques already knew the lucky owners of this modern apartment, having designed their previous home in São Paulo.

A few blocks from Buckingham Palace, this penthouse is undeniably extraordinary, both for its location and its interior features. “My clients wanted to have the ideal conditions to exhibit their extensive collection of art and luxury furniture. My biggest challenge was to find how to balance her works and the pieces of sculptural design with the needs of her daily life, “says the interior architect.


Create harmony and make the family feel at home were essential. The original structure consisted of many separations, so it was completely redesigned to favor the connection between the different areas. “To find the right balance, we made a careful study of the materials and colors”, confesses Fernanda Marques.


In terms of shades, except for the bright touches of Fabio Novembre’s Happy Pills, white was used mainly, as well as a bit of gray and sand-colored. In contrast to this reduced palette, numerous textures were combined to create dynamism in the home decor.
