It’s intended to be an affordable luxury hotel so the guest rooms are small and not all that remarkable but it offers all of these vast common spaces for lounging and hanging out.

It’s a good model for social types who don’t want to blow a big part of their travel budget on a room – and who also appreciate good design.

There are so many iconic pieces but the hotel doesn’t scream midcentury and that keeps things really dynamic and fresh.

It’s my favourite trendy place to hang around in London. I love London, and agree it seems to be the place to be now – can’t wait to see the opening ceremonies of the Olympics in just a week!
